A structured wedding ceremony where rehearsal is necessary.
A small, informal ceremony where rehearsal is not necessary.
Let me tell you what this session IS NOT: This session is not a religious counseling session designed to make you think theologically about your relationship, ask questions that are way too personal, or convince you to join a church. An additional, hour-long session is geared towards the practical stuff: thinking and talking about what life will be like as a unit. Maybe you've been a unit for a while and want the opportunity to reflect and see whats worked and check in on what may be challenging you. Perhaps your family dynamics are very different and you want to be aware of how your extended families will mesh or clash. Or maybe your marriage is accompanied by some other major steps in your relationship - like moving in together or sharing finances for the first time. Whatever the situation, a time to intentionally take stock of your relationship and see what your strengths and growth areas are is a great thing to do during wedding prep!
Through Prepare & Enrich, you'll get a focused look at the areas of your relationship where you are strong, as well as the areas where you might need to grow or find a middle ground in. You'll each take an assessment individually, and will come together for a feedback session where Connor will review your results and walk you through exercises that will keep you strong in your areas where you already rock and grow in the areas that might need a little more attention! You'll also recieve a workbook with those exercises so you can continue to invest in your relationship on your own. This program can be done within a religious or secular format. A framed certificate with your names, wedding date, venue name, and signatures from your senior bridal party members or witnesses! Most Ohio wedding certificates only have room for the officiant's signature. This option creates a great photo opportunity for you and your witnesses to sign a document that you then get to keep forever!
If your wedding takes place beyond 30 miles from Akron, OH, a mileage reimbursement will be assessed at the current IRS Business Rate and added to the total package cost.
